It need not come as a surprise that due to the econmy crisis in Iceland and the faltering outlook elsewhere there are more availabilities on our rivers than before as some clients have decided to either skip this year or wait and see. The currency issue makes a trip to Iceland very promising indeed. So with the new season looming large, in this environment there is a unique chance for visiting anglers to stake their claim on previously sold out rivers. Among them is our famous Hrutafjardara.

Most of our rivers are the same as before. Among them is Tungulaekur, probably and arguably the worlds best sea trout river. Over the years we have had very limited access to the river.

This season however we have a lot more to offer our clients on the river which will boast a new brilliant lodge and is superbly set up for a pairing with Minnivallalaekur, our by now world famous brown trout river. They are only an hours drive apart and both contain huge trout, Tungu famous for its sea trout, Minni with its stationary ice age browns.
